Take Action

Into its 7th year this year, Open Access Week 2013 is a global event that will be held around the world between October 21 and 27. The purpose of the week  is to promote open access as a new norm in scholarship and research.  This year’s theme is “Open Access: Redefining Impact”. Tapping on this highly publicised week, it is an opportunity for the academic and research community to continue to learn about the potential benefits of open access, to share what they have learnt with colleagues, and to help inspire wider participation.
